good day everyone so I had a question for the group, I recently had a SR5 premium with third row,, and converted into a two row completely. However, my car fax still says it is a seven seater, will this affect me if I try to trade the car in to a dealership. I’m assuming once they look up the Vin they’re going to ask where is the other seats? For those of you that have done it, please guide me as to what you have done in the past.

Don’t sell it then you don’t have to worry.

Won't get 7 seater $ back but it is what it is.

I wouldn’t sweat it. As long as it’s not a rust bucket and the engine doesn’t smoke, you should have no problem selling it.

general risk of altering a vehicle in a substantial way. what’s good for you isn’t necessarily good for everyone else. dealerships can use that against you in trade value since they will not try to resell a vehicle altered in such a way and likely send it straight to auction

I’ve been looking at used cars lately and it’s nearly impossible to find an unmolested vehicle.
