What aftermarket company makes a slider that is similar (in looks) to the OEM Rock Rail that Toyota makes?

I would like it to be up high, close & parallel to the rocker panel with no step or kickout.

If you like the OEM rock rail, why not get that? Think it's not strong enough?

If so, I'd try searching the slider threads here or on trail4runner.com to see what people like and dislike. Most companies offer a 0 degree no kickout slider option. Question is which one do you think serves your interest best

I like the look of the OEM Rock Rail & I am not a hard core rock humper but I was just considering aftermarket options.

Gotcha. Well there are a ton of aftermarket options. Some things I would consider:
    1. Do you live in the salt belt or near the ocean? Consider aluminum for corrosion resistance if you aren't worried about strength. Just know they probably aren't strong enough for a jack point and may only be good for one hard hit
    2. If you aren't hardcore, the OEM or aluminum options will most likely be cheaper and lighter - a good option to consider if you are concerned about weight
    3. Do you have KDSS? Some are not KDSS compatible
    4. Some companies offer different steel types (like DOM) for extra cost, some make them with the best options standard. Again, if you aren't hardcore, consider saving money and going a cheaper route if offered
There are tons of options from good companies - my advice would to be to go with a well known company (good feedback on the forum) and buy direct from them. Don't cheap out and buy something from Joe's backyard garage because they offer a cheap solution. I did that with a semi reputable hitch mounted spare tire carrier (detours of maine) and was lucky to get my money back before he closed up shop, tucked tail, and ran with peoples money. There is an approved vendors list on this forum I believe. Some popular brands are RCI, RSG, and several others that I'm sure people will chime in with.

Ultimately you will need to do some research and reading to see what's out there and what people like and dislike about what they have.

I know of these offhand because I considered them. I feel like they are fairly reputable out of Canada.

Keep in mind most offroad shops are made to order so you will be waiting while your order is queued and put through production. It's usually not a quick process

RSG Offroad makes a slider that fits your description. If you have KDSS, it will make this a bit of a challenge for just about anything that you want to mount on there. It might be easier to direct weld to the frame if you have the KDSS system. RSGOffroad.com

Thank You for all of the info!

I don't have KDSS, I'll check out RSG.

    Thanks!

^Nope. Aside from higher cost, stainless will still rust at the welds.

do you not want OEM slider? I have a pair I am looking to part ways with if you can wait a few weeks for me to replace them with the rock sliders I have.

I am still undecided on what to buy. I am not a hardcore off-roader, so I really don't need a heavy duty slider. PM me with price when you are ready to sell, but I'll bet shipping from OK to PA ain't gonna' be cheap.
