    Hello 4R Fam

Wanted to get opinions on a lift for my 23 4R that has KDSS. Just upgraded from a 21 trail edition. I rather no disable it. Any feedback would be great.

    Thanks in advance.

Didn't quite catch what RDS is?
(I hope its not about Radar Sensor since your 21 should have also had it. Couldn't think of what it could be.)

Do you mean KDSS or the radar cruise thing?

Apologies all, meant KDSS. Auto correct caught me. (Toyota's Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS), which increases suspension travel at low speeds, can improve stability on rocky terrain)

Thanks for the welcome as well.

Taller lifts will need KDSS spacers and reservoir shocks will need KDSS specific mounts. Other than that you are open to any lift available for the Runner.

I went with the Eibach Stage 1 kit myself and am extremely happy with it both on and off road. It gave the truck a much better look, better off-road ride, didn't break the bank (I got ours a few months ago for around $970 assembled), and didn't make it impossible for our dog to jump in the back still.

2.5 front and 1 rear. Measured from the center of the wheel hub to the fender. I believe the Stage 2 kit is adjustable for a tad more height but 2.5 sat fine for me.

The white truck is stock suspension and the green is my Eibach lift. Exact same tire and in the same garage. Makes me quite happy with it.

thank you kindly. I’m pretty thrilled with them myself. Might have to keep them a bit longer than expected.

Anybody have issues with warning lights coming on that "headlight system" and "pre-collision" system are malfunctioning after doing this lift/change?

I have a 2020 ORP w/KDSS. I went Bilstein 6112s in front at 2.5" and 5160s in the rear with 1". No issues with KDSS or needing any calibrations. Rides great on road and the mild off road that I do.
