Just wondering if anyone had powder coated rims, particularly the ORP wheels before? If so and you could share some photos it’d be appreciated. I know you can paint them, but I’m not sure if my painting skills would result in a clean enough finish. Would powder coated wheels be a bad idea?

why not just get new wheels.
I didnt look into DIY, I am never confident with anything involving painting/spraying. And labor itself would kill any potential savings. So for me buying new wheels made sense.

I gave some old SR5 wheels to a friend and he had them powder coated and they came out like this-

Cheaper than new wheels. I’ve got to finally replace the stock wheels soon and tire shop I go to does powder coating too, quoted me $600 for all 4.
