I have experience with Pennzoil's Ultra Platinum, and it has been amazing to me. But the experience is on Grand Cherokee's 3.6.
Pennzoil Ultra Platinum is also cheaper than Toyota.
    What do you folks say?

I’ve been using Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0w20 since my first change on my 2021 4Runner. No problems whatsoever. I even skipped the “free” oil changes at the dealer. They only want to change it every 10k anyway. I like doing them at 5k.

Yak oil, the GOOD stuff from Mongolia. And change it every 25 miles. Better safe than sorry...

Not just another oil thread - it's the second Pennzoil thread you started. What did you hope to learn that didn't show up on the other one?

Toyota must not have been able to get penzzoooooooil when the engineers designed the engines.
Use a toilet paper roll for your oil filter too, its cheaper!

    Just sayin.......

Toyota doesn’t make oil or filters. They use cheapest bulk and slap their name on it.

Yeah cheapest contract chosen. All the cars that have a sticker that says use Mobil 1 just got a fat check from them.

No one said better but all the others are the equivalent. Playing this ToYoTa OnLy game only keeps the Toyota executive board rich. Oil is oil. Choose the correct one for what you need and keep it pushing.

I use Amsoil Signature normally but when I ran out I used Kirkland then Mobil One. On my Tacoma I used Mobil One, Amsoil, Royal Purple, Castrol but mostly Amsoil on everything.

I changed with Mobil 1 600 miles ago and went wheeling on Saturday, so it's probably about to seize up.
