Purchase price of a new Lunar ORP

Hey guys , new to the forum and looking to pick up a 2023 lunar rock ORP with KDSS , sunroof , black emblems, black trd wheels . The dealer hit me at 56k OTD the other night at the end of the stores day . I decided to go home. He text me today asking if I can come back in to try and make something work. What do you think of the price? Im in Baltimore.

While I cant comment about the price, have you checked out Jones Junction? While it was 2020, they beat Jerry’s price on a Tacoma.

If you don’t know they also offer no cost oil changes for life which I think is a great deal.

Did you ask him why is selling price on the deal sheet is higher then his website?

 

“Market Value Selling Price” =/= Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price.

 

I think it may have to do with that fact that he added black trd wheels and black emblems to the truck per my asking .

 

I saw the website price and thought maybe the tax was super high. But no Jerry is just shafting people with market adjustments.

 

You think 54k is a good or bad otd price for this truck?

 

I would guess that since the stock photo has Trd pro wheels it was already optioned with them. The starting msrp is 53,xxx only way to get that high on a ORP. Is to have it optioned pretty heavily I’m guessing kdss and Trd pro wheels are the biggest contributors to the pre discount msrp.

 

For some reason I can’t see all the options on their website. Do you have a pic of the window sticker?

 

No window sticker because the truck is at the port. He said the picture didn't represent the actual truck so the wheels and emblems would need to be added . So yes kdss and black wheels . That's why i was thinking that 54k otd may be in the ballpark ?

 

Go on Toyota.com build a 4Runner to the same spec with all the same options that will give you true msrp. Add your tax and fees and then check the difference between Jerry’s and msrp if it’s under msrp I would say it is a fair deal. Lunar rock tends to sell very fast and you don’t see a ton of them on dealer lots.

 

Shouldn’t matter if it’s in the port the dealer should be able to tell you all the options on that truck. At dealers in my area you can see the factory and port options before the truck is even built.

Wow for that price if you can get a pro for msrp you are pretty close to the Pro price.

 

He is showing out the door price tax and fees included. So at least 6k under a pro.

that’s the base features that every ORP comes with click the link I put up and go to view details you will see a list of options. I can’t seem to find that on the Jerry’s website.

 

If he is charging that much for just trd wheels and overlays he is charging way over list

 

Ah I see what you meen . I know it has kdss and a moonroof. Is there amy other options you think it should have for the money. ?

 

1700 for the wheels, 200 for the badges according to the Toyota web page

 

I certainly will when I go in Monday. I remember seeing a paper that showed it had a moonroof , exhaust tip , running boards , trd wheels , black overlays , kdss I just don't have a picture of it .

 

Guess they have gone up on price. Last year in a GST region it was a few hundred less for all that.

Kdss. 1,750
Trd wheels 1,700
Moonroof. 630
Your tax/fees est. 3,900

It will have more options than just those.
So I would say ya it’s a pretty fair price definitely not over msrp.

but definitely get an itemized list of options.
