Can anyone who has purchased a new 4Runner recently tell me how long it took from vessel arrival at the port until you were able to pick up the vehicle at the dealer? Please tell me which port and if it had any port installed accessories. My new lunar rock ORP with no port installed accessories arrived at the Long Beach on 7/31 and has been "processing" ever since and my dealer doesn't seem to have a clue when they might finally get it :(

I'm not sure which port mine came into, but it was about two weeks. The hangup didn't seem to be getting port-installed accessories, but getting a train ride to Pennsylvania. It was sitting in a rail yard for about ten days.

Yeah a guy in Albuquerque said his 4Runner sat for three weeks after being processed at the port of Long Beach waiting to finally get loaded on the train :notsure:

I live about 15 minutes from the POLB and have been lucky enough to visit the Toyota location down there. Pretty cool experience.

    I know, cool story bro.

Mine came into the Portland port and was about 2.5 months until it reached the dealer. The only accessory installed was the blackout badge kit.

Good news, after arriving at the port of Long Beach on 7/31 my lunar rock ORP was loaded on the train 8/26 and arrived in Denver yesterday 8/30  So not too bad - one month from port arrival and my dealer said I should be able to pick it up in a week or so depending how fast it gets unloaded off the train and trucked to the dealership :bananadance:

6/8 built. 6/16 vessel depart. 6/30 vessel arrive. 7/7 processing? (waiting for wheels for a f%cking month) 8/7 rail depart. 8/25 rail arrive, google maps says I could have walked from portland to KC in that time. Truck sat at a yard 15 miles from the dealer for 7 days before being trucked to dealer. Hoping it shows by tomorrow, kind a over it now.

Hi Dave. After I brought my 4Runner home the first time I discovered that the tires were at 50 psi and the parking brake had never been adjusted. You may want to check when it’s delivered. Congrats in advance.

I feel your pain brother :annoyed: Mine sat at the port in processing for a month with no port installed accessories so yours was only there an extra week. But mine got to Denver on the train in four or five days so yours must have sat in the railyard for a while too as well as the trucking delay to the dealer - super frustrating I'm sure :frustrated: I'm 70 years old and I've bought various new and used vehicles and motorcycles over the years and this is easily the least satisfying buying experience I have ever had.

Yes sir last saturday. It came in friday with old wheels, I like both so had no preference I'm happy with either. Cali sliders, KO2's, window tint, Eibach springs and we're off to CO!

I'm in OKC, drove to KC to get it at a great dealership up there (Molle Toyota). You're lucky to be so close to all the great offroading!!
We'll been going to Silverton and Ouray for years and will be there next week. The weather looks not great but whatev. Some of us can skip leg day and still hang! :benchpress:

I'm 70 and still riding but I've definitely dialed it back after suffering a concussion and separated shoulder a couple of years ago

Finally picked up my new lunar rock ORP last Saturday 9/16 so the whole process took five months after being wait listed at four different dealerships, took possession eight weeks after putting down a deposit and seven weeks after it landed at the port of Long Beach - buying a new car isn't what it used to be but at least it's finally here! :yes:4Runner_2.jpg 4Runner_3.jpg
