Edit: I know how to use my locker, but it still won't engage. Update: I think it's the actuator

    Yeah it's pretty good but no locker in the tricky stuff. I found it get me up a rutted out hill climb pretty good while the locker would just want to swing the back end out because the front is open.

    Yeah, there are still occasions where I could have used the locker. But, I'm still very impressed. As you mentioned, It's very handy for climbing steep things.
