    Hey everyone!

A few years back I replaced the door seals on my 3rd gen but now I want to replace the outer door seals as well. The ones on the vechile now are really stiff so they provide next to no seal.

I've been looking online but can only find the seals for the doors, not the one that goes front to back on top of the doors.

Does anyone have any ideas as to where I should look??

    Thanks!!

Wipe down the seals daily for a week or so with 303 Aerospace Protectant or Spray Silicone Lubricant. This should soften up the seals.

Junk yard will have them. The driver one is usually torn, but the passenger one is normally easier to find in good shape and will work on both sides. Spray them with lubricant once a year, this will help them stay supple and prevent them from freezing shut in ice fog

They are called "belt line moldings"...aka "dew wipes". I replaced all of mine with new ones from TOYOTA. Perfect fit as expected.

Edit...I had the wrong ones....see below.

Here are some pics. I'm looking for the upper seal that runs from front to back.

    Oh I see.

Looks like it's no longer available:

    62381-35011 - RH

    62382-35011 - LH

Probably won't be able to get anything like that from anywhere other than a junkyard....and those probably won't be much good.

Edit: LH side still shows as available.
Edit: those numbers are for non-sunroof cars.

Any visit to the TOYOTA parts department and they would have just looked it up like I did. I get part numbers there and depending on the immediate need, I don't buy the parts there. They don't seem to care.

I don't have any dealers that are "convenient" for me to get to otherwise I would have tried that.

Just call the parts department. They will look it up over the phone if you give them a good enough description.
