I want them because of their snow rating

SDHQ boots, they're so confident in them they even told me not to run inner clamps

650's will work if you aren't anal about leveling/height

The thing that adds to the rough ride is the preloading to regain original height, not the sagging

Yeah seems Cooper likes to get the M+S rating on everything, well see how I do without it lol

I did read the original Toyo AT's were absolute shit though

What do you mean? I want to be sitting high in the front with my bumper, maybe a bit higher than I am with my current eibach/5100 setup. How were the 650's for you?

You said earlier you wanted to retain a nice ride. Once you throw on the bumper, you will sag. When that happens, you will crank up the coilovers, thus lowering ride quality but regaining your desired ride height. Though with 700# coils you won't sag and you can keep it at minimal to zero preload, but ride will still feel a bit worse due to the heavy rate coils.

From the sounds of it; you will want the 700 lb coils. With your big heavy V8 and 140-150 lb bumper I reckon you'll drop quite a bit with 650#.

The 650's were nice. I have a V6 with no added weight though. Bit rough with the sway bar on, took that off and it got really nice. Going with 600's this time around because I don't plan to run anything heavy, and the 650/700 were a $240 option.

hes about an inch lower than me in front on 265/70s if i remember correctly. So on bigger tires should be similar.

Are you gonna be running 2.5's? I'll sell you my 650's for a fraction of that if I get the 700s if you're interested.

and yeah, thanks for the link. I talked to Josh (JLink) about it, he did my rear springs with me a while back. Everyone is huge on the CDC addition but I can't spend 900 bucks on that upgrade. I just want the COs for the additional travel and to help level out the truck with the bumper etc. I thought I was done with suspension for a while.. lol.

I'll have high and low speed compression adjustment so no need but I'll keep that in mind :anonymous:

I wanted to add CDC to my coilovers too, but even adding that to existing resis is just too high imo. Getting new coilovers with adjustment already on it is better value to me. Rebuildable/revalvable shocks is definitely a plus over your 5100's, you'll never look back. Suspension is never ending. Before you know it you'll be going long travel and some 16" triples through the trunk.

ugh don't say that lol. I don't think I'll be able to sell these 650's. I could also do the longer 14" 650 coils instead of the 700s?

I'd get 14" or 16" 650# springs. I'd try to get 16" springs to get both height and squish

I dont even think a 16" spring would fit... the preload just to get it to fit would make it ride like shit

would make it ride no different than preloaded.. Except you wont lose travel because 0 preload.

Precisely my point! Haha. That was my plan for LT. Get some 600 or 550 springs. No preload, lots of travel, nice soft ride!
