Photos (Live) of the NEW Lexus GX, Tacoma, and Land Cruiser

My step daughter and her husband are in Loveland Colorado this morning and sent me photos of the NEW Lexus GX, Tacoma, and Land Cruiser.

Hate to admit I like all three.

 

The tacoma nice, but that landcruiser man, wtf. That things looks horrible.

 

Why would you hate to admit that?

 

Because I’m a Luddite and just bought a ‘23 4Runner.

 

The tacoma should have larger tires.

 

The Landcruiser looks like a 4Runner and an FJ Cruiser made boom boom and had a baby. Not saying I don’t like it (color sucks), just pointing out the love child from 4R and FJ.

 

I see Toyota's marketing dept removed the snowplow airdam from the TRD OR.

 

I think it looks more like a fat nissan cube mixed with a jeep renegade. Its not a vehicle that ill be buying.

 

Looks like it says iFORCE MAX on the back of the LC, I could be wrong?

 

The more I see the "round lights" trim LC the lesser I like it. I think it looks more like FJ cruiser. The rear reminds me of jeep compass.
GX and "regular" LC both are pretty good looking. I dont have any strong opinions on tacoma one way or the other.

 

I thought it would just say 250? I could swear someone posted 250 on the other side.

 

You did well. The only one that looks good in this group is the GX. And to get one with the offroad kit of your 4Runner you will need another 30 grand. Buy your wife a Camry instead, and keep the Pro.

The runner is actually hers. Mine is a ‘16 Tundra - even more analog. It’s just easier to discount or reject new vehicles when they’re also ugly as sin.

 

The entire interior on these new Toyotas has all the visual interest of plastic sushi.

 

Toyota took the design task for this 250 away from the Japanese Shibui team (all the FJs to date) and handed the responsibility over to a N. American group led by famed auto designer Rodney Dangerfield.

Are the LC and GX the exact same body?

Difficult to tell in photos- is the LC slightly shorter than the GX?
