Good day everyone, recently relocated to Denver area and seeking some recommendations on dealers or maintenance shops. Just looking for somewhere to get more challenging services, no garage and very limited tools in move. Also will take some trail recommendations.

Welcome to CO. I’m not to familiar with downtown service shops in Denver. I’m in the foothills of Golden. For basic services, I use Evolution Auto in Golden- good team and fair prices. If you are looking for mods, I really like mountain yota’s in wheat ridge but there are a number of solid shops around the metro area.
As for trails close to Denver this is a great starting guide from easy to difficult with most being within 30-50mins depending on traffic. Most of these trails have a lot of loops and as many miles as you want on any given day. https://www.trailsoffroad.com/blog/a-beginners-guide-to-where-to-go-offroading-near-denver
I’d recommend getting something like Alltrails or On X Offroad or similar apps. Most are subscription based but it will help you navigate the off-shoot trails so you don’t get lost or find yourself in something you’re not comfortable doing. Plus with our weather, those trails can change any given season.

Elka 2.5 DC 3" lift, SPC UCA's, Toytech rear springs, ARB Diff Breather, RSG Rock Sliders & front Skid. C4 front bumper with High Clearance sides and Warn Winch.
You have both Toytech and R4T in Denver which are two of the best shops in CO. R4T did my Suspension upgrades, UCA's, Diff Breather etc and did a fantastic job. For a trail guide I use OnX Offroad so I can pre map out my routes and download them so I don't have to worry about Cell signal plus I can have the map up on my dash via apple carplay. If you don't have a radio I would get one even if it's a Rugged hand held, they work great when going out with other drivers. If you need armor, RSG is right there in the Denver area with their shop on Colfax, they installed my sliders and armor and did a great job and are super nice, they also do all manner of 4x4 upgrades. If you come down to the springs where I am we have Hefty Fabworks, they do awesome work too. They installed my C4 Lo Pro bumper with high clearance additions and on board air as well as a winch and light bar and it all came out perfect.
    Welcome to CO!

I’m in downtown Denver, I don’t go to shops but Mountain Yotas or Runnin 4 Tacos would be my local recommendations.

appreciate all the feedback, definitely will check out all the shops and heed all the advise. Do you all do and Coffee and Cars meets up or anything like that to link new folks to others to partner up or at least not go solo, on some of trails? Thanks again.

I go with 2-4 other buddies every two-three weeks. You’re welcome to join us next Sunday. If you have a tire gauge and air compressor would be helpful but not a necessity but it helps when you are crawling over some of those pointed rocks.

Where did you move to? If you’re near downtown lets grab a cocktail after work some day.

Welcome. One more vote to Runnin 4 Tacos. I've been working with Hugo at Runnin 4 Tacos even before he joined there. He has worked on 3 of my 4Runners multiple lift and other mods.

Have you had an opportunity to deal with R4T since Hugo left? I am not sure what’s happening but I was dealing with somebody that Hugo left me with and it went crickets. I ordered some small parts that were said to be in stock. The one part that wasn’t in R4T’s stock had it in stock with the manufacturer. It’s been almost 3 weeks and haven’t heard anything.

I sent multiple emails as well because I need to have some work done at the shop. I’m going to give it one more week, then it is cancel charge with bank and find another shop on the Front Range.

I haven't buy anything after Hugo left.
One thing I could think is, Now Hugo is at Toytec again, may be call Hugo and try to get some info whom to talk to?
Or maybe stop by at R4T and see whats going on?
I'm sure they will refund the money easy if they can't give you the product as expected.
