How much more traction would I gain in FL mud holes going from 265 wildpeak at3 to 285 mud tires?

Would it be worth my while? Have bilstein 5100 shocks and struts in front and rear with heavy bilstein coils in rear for 2.5"/2" lift. I would have to buy new rims with - 6 offset as well.

Huge difference, imo, especially aired down a bit…

Yeah that's what I need. I'm not talking about snorkle/37"+ tire mud holes lol. I just feel I need a tad bit more for the muddy/watery areas with solid bottoms that I encounter with my off road clubs adventures. A little boost of confidence is all. I try to not exceed water much deeper than just over my tires. I don't run a snorkle, my rig isn't a submarine is what I try to tell myself-heh.

good plan, water-wise. May i recommend you consider ARB’s breather kit? We run a snorkel, but we also have raised our all our gear assemblies breather levels to the engine compartment with the addition of the arb kits. Gives good peace of mind and it’s an easy install and i think around $60-80.00

For our tires, we went from 265 stockers to 265 BFG’s to 285/70 BFG’s and the difference each time was phenomenal for us, traction-wise with not much lag in performance even with the 285’s.

Yes I was going to buy a breather kit and install it myself it looked pretty easy to do. I noticed when I hit water my trans temp drops so I figured my diffs where probably cooling off and sucking in air (water) due to the pressure drop inside them. Good call, thanks for the reminder.
