sold my 2020 Tacoma TRD Sport and went with the TRD Pro 4Runner

So stoked on this SUV. Drives slow and loud but its the meanest SUV on the road. The dealer asked if i could take a photo, so i hopped on the roof and showed them my excitement lol

    Congratz..

Hope you didn't damage the new vehicle as its no where near can handle the weight of a person. As I can remember its rated 110lbs max equally distributed (too lazy to run to garage and check). Don't want to sound like a J/A, but posted in the interest of not damaging your new 4R. I don't even let my kid sit on the hood / stand on rear bumper/ get on the roof :p :p:p

The Stormtrooper version is still my favorite. Enjoy the new ride. :)

Welcome to the family! I joined last week, picked my Limited 2 WD on the 29th.My last one was a Pre-Runner, 1982 Trekker. Evidently we are in a large family, sales for 1984-2022 are impressive, 3,016,153. Not bad for 38 years

    Welcome to the forum!

Enjoy it stock for awhile, and the figure out what mods are important to you.

If I was going to do one thing right off the bat, it would probably be tires though.

That's probably dynamic load. I think the roof rack would support a few hundred pounds static load. I wouldn't hesitate to attach a rooftop tent to it.

I was going to ask. As my buddies Tacoma had a roof top tent and was fine with two people sleeping in it.

Perfect choice! Nothing that has come out or been announced by Toyota comes close to it. You are good to go for decades.

Keep it stock and you’ll sell it at auction for big bucks someday!

Congrats and leave it stock. I just had my last piece removed today from my 21 tundra pro to get ready to sell it. Put the stock wheels back on. All of my Pro’s I have done mods to them. This time around it may stay stock for the most part. Maybe add a light bar again. We will see.
