Limited are incredibly, violently ugly; so maybe work on callousing your skin so when people mock you, you won't get upset?

Or plan to get new wheels and a new front end.

Oh that's a little bit harsh. Anyone that mocks a Limited owner is just envious. Unless you were joking...

I'm semi serious. Of course I don't care what other people like or choose to drive, but I do find the faux chrome and 20" wheels to be unappealing. To each their own, but I reserve the right to punch Limited owners in their ball sack.

I suspect you’ll miss the Taco “not for long” also. There is a cool ruggedness with the Tacoma that disappears a little bit with the 4Runner. I bet you’ll love driving, though.

Go for it! I have a limited and its amazing. Agreed stock they could stand to look a little better, but after some mods they look and perform as well as any of the other models. No rear locker, but full time 4WD. Plus it's hard to hear the haters over the JBL audio and sub.

I was informed that the limited models have a proprietary suspension that you have to completely gut and remove if you ever want to lift it. Something to consider if you do want to lift it.

thats correct they do. thing rides nice ill tell you. even still its not a big deal. that and i have no plan to lift anyway. when those 20s wear out ill will probably get some 17 inch wheels and have more of a selection on tires.

Oh very good then. We were just lookig at all model levels of the 4r before we bought ours. The Limited was super nice. It was just the suspension and the large wheels that shed me away from it. Well the price tag kind of did too. I am sure you are gonna love it.

When your ready for those 17 inch wheels, I have a set of 4 taken off my SR5. Still mounted with the tire sensors. Excellent condition located on Cape Cod.

We call them “brace face” every time we see one, with that giant chrome bar going across. Hated them until we saw one running with the front and rear end chrome blacked out, leveled on black red pro wheels and all terrains. Sort of looks more like a car that is worth +$40k.

By far my favorite way to see a 5th gen setup and so far, I’ve only seen one in the wild. I’ll try and upload a photo tonight.

Here’s that blacked out Limited. On closer inspection, this guy didn’t plastidip or paint match the chrome, he used shadow liner vinyl. (same stuff used to de-chrome window trim)

IMO barcelona red with blacked out chrome, would look pretty awesome.

Yeah that's decent. I think that's highly dependent on color of the truck though because there's a white one running around here that has the front end blacked out like that... and it looks like rape.

We LOVE our limited!! approaching 50k and runs like new. We use it for everything, lumber, appliances, dogs, fold down the seats and load it up!! Beasts off road too! Was at broken arrow trail in Sedona AZ and a T4R trail and a Jeep Rubicon wouldn't do some of the stuff we were doing in our limited. We swapped the 20's for 17's and put on AT tires. Added a 3' leveling lift in front and 1.5' in the back to fit the bigger tires. I wasn't crazy about the front end and the chrome at first but it has grown on me. Eventually, I'll prob black it out for a more aggressive look. We also added a hidden led light bar in the grill which turned out awesome! I'm all for the limited's now! Most people don't know that its the only T4R model that has a Torsen limited slip differential, which is what is on the Ford Raptor!! IMG_2424.jpg

Big talk, MeefZah. Can you back it? I mean, if your State doesn't burn to the ground or float off into the Pacific. Personally, I prefer both.
