    Hi all, I made the jump to a 4Runner a few days ago and I’m super excited to take her out and get dirty. I loved my rav she served me well, mpg is top notch but I pushed her to the limits and got stuck off-road. I was really tempted to go with awd adventure rav but ultimately decided on a 4Runner.565ACE5A-7692-4353-85AD-E4E8541E0535.jpg

    Great move! In 2019, I moved from a Nissan Murano (so practical and boring, nothing more) to a 2020 4Runner SR5 4x2. Recently, I upgraded to a 2023 new Off-Road Premium because I am hooked!

    Yes, I gave up gas mileage...but I FELT so much better driving a 4Runner! You will too!

    It's an attitude and your new 4Runner will deliver that! Trust me and all of us here!

    We have both. I once had an FJ40 and LOVED it. When I retired, I got one to "resto-mod". Mistake! Too many old broken bones to handle a stick with a stiff clutch and no power steering. In the meantime, I had bought the wife a 20119 SR5 Premium. She gave that to me when I was forced to sell the FJ40. In return, we bought her an AWD RAV4 (retired and didn't want any payments, so they both came out of my Thrift Plan Account). BEST move ever!!! The RAV is perfect for around town in the snow or short hauls and the 4Runner is perfect for annual trips down the eastside of the Cascades and Sierras and over to Flagstaff and maybe the east side of the Rockies to visit folks. The 4Runner is the best 4WD I've driven (20 years as a Federal Wildlife Biologist=I drove them all!) and the RAV is our second.
