So I have been trying to do my research but hoping someone smarter than me can chime in. I will be putting 285 KO2 on my TRD wheels with eibach stage 1 lift kit. I have zero issues concerning that they are only 7" in wide which is not recommended but I run a tire shop and I have seen it plenty of times. The question I have is when it comes to UCA/285 and the offset of these wheels is there anything i should avoid to prevent rubbing. I have been reading about the ORP wheels and JBA being a bad combo. Just trying to do it right the first time and be done.

Off road or on road use? I consistently hear SPC UCA recommended and widely used. Adjustability and alignment being the pros. Only cons I have heard are for off road strength there are stronger options.

I have SPC with the TRD Pro wheels. No issues to report.

It will be mostly on road use, maybe small trails on the weekends but nothing serious. I also have wholesale pricing on eibach products through work which is practically the same as SPC from what i hear. I have heard alot of SPC balljoint failures while cruising the forums.

285/70 BFG KO2 on TRD ORP wheels + SPC UCA = No rubbing on the UCA

285/70 Falken Wildpeaks on TRD ORP wheels + factory UCA = No rubbing on the UCA

285/70 Toyo OC AT3 on TRD Pro wheels + factory UCA = No rubbing on the UCA (not tested offroad yet, but I highly doubt it does due to more offset than TRD Offroad wheels.)

So i will be using the TRD PRO 7" in wide wheels for sure, and already purchased the 285 KO2 (150 a tire my cost, could not turn that down). Just looking for the right UCA to finish the set that wont rub and will align properly.

I think SPC might be the most common UCA used. One thing I have heard is the alignment shop needs to be aware of how to adjust them or won't get the benefit.

Another member called out that SPC is an alignment company not an off road company. For alignment they work well but there are better off road UCA.

I wanted the best setup and paired SPC with Elka. Long term if I will upgrade to another UCA who knows. They do everything I picked them for now. These were recommended as best setup for my needs and ride being part of it.

IMG_8025.jpg Eibach stage 1 lift and 285 tires are in. Now just a matter of debating on which uca to get or stay stock and hoping nothing rubs on factory Trd wheels

On the jba website it has a list of tire/wheel combos that will and won't work.

Has far as a uca recommendation. I would go with jba(if you have the right offset) or dobinsons. I have jba's and they are awesome. But they do require greasing them every 5k miles or so.

I think im going to just set the kit on the lowest clip see how 2.75, TRD wheels and 285 fits/rubs and aligns before I make the call on UCA.
