Is there a bolt on brush gaurd for a 2017 4runner that doesn't require me to cut the front? I would even settle for a nice bull bar. All of the ones I have found so far say you "may" need to cut the front valance.

brush guards are called crash multipliers because when you hit something, even lightly, the crumple in and do more damage. Get a real winch bumper with full hoop like from SSO, CBI, etc.

Found this from member Stoney Ranger. I doubt a brush guard could handle any impact like this winch bumper did. Zero damage.

Haha winch bumpers are called wallet lighteners because then you have to buy a winch, lighting, heavier springs blah blah.

i dont have a winch, lighting or any heavy springs. My SSO bumper was only 40 lbs over the stock set up.

And I paid $750 for it.

So basically I'm very limited with options due to the odd front end of the Limited. If I had the other 5th gen grill set up I could get a fancy zombie deer smashing light up winch bumper gaurd do hicky

I know the following may be controversial to some, but I think hitting a zombie with your vehicle might be extraordinarily risky, and I’m not talking about damage to the bumper. If we take it as a given that a person can become zombified as a result of exposure to the bodily fluids of a zombie, then there is a great chance of being exposed to those fluids when running down a zombie. This risk increases with the level of decay or putrification, when the integrity of the skin has been greatly comprised. Of course sometimes circumstances might leave us with no alternative but to strike a zombie with our vehicle. In that case best practices dictate that all windows are closed and the climate controls are set to recirculate. Afterwards, and as soon as possible, the car should be run through a drive-through car wash.

Remember though that when dealing with zombies it’s best to remember the two i’s: immobilization and immolation.
    • First lure the shambler to an area where a small fire poses no significant risk, i.e. outdoors, away from trees, overhead branches, and other flammables.
    • Next, your undead foe should be immobilized by whatever means are convenient. A net is easy and traditional, but remember your net will be consumed in flames so it can only be used once.
    • The use of a bola is more economical, and a bola can be hastily improvised in the field. The disadvantage of the bola is that it requires some technique, so practice practice practice!
    • Once the zombie has been immobilized it is a simple matter to set it alight using whatever accelerant may be at hand.
    • Observe at a safe distance from a place upwind of the blaze. The zombie may try to lure you closer in a last attempt to make you its victim. So don’t be fooled by any displays of pain or agony. Remember that zombies feel no pain, so feel neither pity nor remorse. Watch long enough to ensure that all fluids have congealed. That’s it! Congratulate yourself on a lob well done.
This has been a public service announcement.

Just my opinion, I absolutely don't like the looks of those bars that fit in front of stock bumper. It would get even worse look with the Limited bumper. I care about the looks too. So if I were to do it I would most probably go for a light weight aluminum bumper for my TRD. Not sure about what options Limited has.
(EDIT - Don't forget about the parking sensors.)

i love the fit and finish of my SSO Slimline bumper.

You could always paint or powder coat it to match.
