Painted TRDOR Center Caps

    Decided to add a little red accent to my stock wheels. Pics show masking tape and installed look. Rust-oleum “Cherry”.

    I will. I always remove my own center caps. The tool in the jack kit is able to remove them using that rectangular slot, without damaging them. If you put a cloth between the tool and center cap (and wheel) it works great. The owners manual suggest that technique. I think it’s cool that Toyota provided a tool and guidance to remove them without damage. Someone thought about it. I would be reluctant for a tire shop to mis-use a screwdriver and needlessly scratch them.

    I bought some Trim badge overlays from Yota Xpedition. They come black. Painted them to match my wheel center caps.
