so what did this add to the cost of the 4runner?

our dealers out here add a shitty lift and gaudy rims with window tint and charge $8000 for it as a package.

We went with Old Man Emu on the lift.

I thought for sure the New Car department was going to gouge the hell out of the price, and be up around $80k or so. BUT, once we got done, I looked at the window sticker and they have it at $64k. It's high, but no where near as high as I thought it was going to be.

It's an SR5, can't tell if premium or not... so it started at $34k-ish. $30k extra for $8k in add ons???? Someone is dumb enough to buy it I guess.

Dealer in WA had an "offroad package" listed on a new 4runner pro which included a set of sliders, undercoating, and pain protection spray (not even wrapped) and marked it up $6k listed at $52k. Sad thing is someone is going to fall for this trap if they don't research the cost of what these additions truly cost.

It's an SR5 Premium, so I think $39k? They took the window sticker off for detail and haven't put it back on yet, so I'm not 100% sure on that.

Way more than $8k in parts on this 4Runner. Plus around 50 hours in labor.

Our labor rate is $120 an hour, and it was roughly $14k in parts with a modest markup. The rest is sales, but those guys have to make money too.

Sure. We went with Stealth custom wheels, Toytec on the lift, Gobi rack, and Shrockworks for the bumpers, skid plates, sliders, winch, etc., and a local place for some small/minor stuff.
