    Anyone experience this?

Another OCD post - I've gotten a crunchy rattle in the passenger side (I think) rear wheel well from time to time, very intermittently. I would write it off as running over something in the road because that's what it sounds like, but it sounds the same every time in the same location. I've checked the suspension as best I can and it looks pretty good.

Don't know, something loose? Suspension? Brakes? Wheels?

Doesn't sound like it's from that side, but you know how sounds travel. Pretty sure it's strapped down, but I'll give it a check -- thanks for the suggestion.

I had a rear seat not securely latched after folding them down and it created a fairly large rattle in the back area.

That was my first thought too. I've had the jack work loose and rattle. Took me forever to figure it out.

do you use parking brake? I notice rattle noise when parking brake is engaged and I exist the vehicle would trigger that rattle, I'm 200 lbs so that much of weight shifting could upset the parking brake and cause some noise

Nah, it's while I'm driving -- I've checked all the things (tool kit, etc.) -- haven't had it since I've checked, so we'll see, but pretty sure it wasn't the tools as it's on the passenger side rear and not the driver's

do you have the jbl system?

the sub and amp package is bolted in with a few bolts right up and into the rear quarter cavity.

definitely a possible source, it’s weighty and plastic while being hollow.
