Hey everybody, Im new here and decided to give it a try with this post.

Im receiving my new 2023 4Runner SR5 in a couple of weeks and Im looking forward to start upgrading it.
The first thing I want to upgrade are wheels and tires. I was sure that 4Runners came with 265/70R17 tires stock but mine has 245/70R17 tires, making me doubt if there is going to be any rub if i upgrade to 265/70R17 so I really want to hear your opinions and experiences. Suspension and everything else is stock since its a new car.

On the other hand my current options for wheels are Black Rhino, Method and Braid and Im planning to get a 17"x8.5 pattern6x139 0 offset so i would love to hear some recommendations

265/70r17 is the size that your 4Runner is supposed to come with from the factory. You can run that size with 17x8.5 wheels, you may have to do the fender liner mod and very very minor trimming. Seriously, it only takes 10-15 minutes to do and there are approximately 24,977 threads on this site that cover the topic

my 2019 SR5 came with 265's. the stock Dunlops made it 74k before needing to be replaced. went with my old standby, Michelin Defenders.
