So I didn't want to use the wonkey connector Magnuson sends to slide in with a fuse in the engine bay box. The water circ pump for the blower is just too important.

I got an add a fuse which worked graet until I went to close the lid and it doesn't allow the lid to latch.

Does anyone make or know where a taller fuse box lid can be had?

No but, got a picture of the thing?

Edit: here's what i did with an add a fuse to pull ignition on power to power up the relay box next to it. Made the hole as small ad possible so it's as water tight as possible. That wire is then on a plug i can disconnect easily to take that fuse box cover off and set it somewhere else. You can see the blue male/female connector in the second picture.

The add a fuse or the lack of room for the fuse box cover?

is the add a fuse itself too tall and the cover hits?......is that why I abandoned the above and ran my ignition on from the cab like this....? (not sarcasm I'm kinda remembering here)

would grabbing power from the cab work?

Yep, the add a fuse sticks up probably 3/8" too high in the engine compartment. I want to keep it there as it's part of a nice wire loom. I can already see I'm going to have to modify the fuse box lid. Just going to have to find some materials to increase the height a bit.

Hey thanks for that link! been meaning to order that.

@Rob41 - sorry for the bad info at first. Because I never look at the cabin fuse box I forget about it. The pic wire with male / female connector is actually coming from the cabin. Kinda forgot. I was drinking pretty heavily when i was doing the electrical....

No worries. Seems like the cabin cover is out there but I haven't seen anything on the under hood fuse box covers. I'll see what I can come up with.

Not yet. I installed by XB headlights yesterday and waiting on Magnuson to re-validate my VR tuner. Today is a day of rest to let my sprained rib heal a bit. I may end up using a heat gun to bulge it out the 1/4" needed temporarily. I have a lot to do around the house/property being gone on a ship half the year.

Drill a hole on the fusebox cover and epoxy in a common flanged plastic cap like this?

4Runner.tx on IG is working on some extended height fuse box covers! Not too sure of his time frame for finishing the project, but I know he’s been working on them for a bit, so hopefully soon.

Are you using a Low Profile Mini Fuse Tap?
The common Mini Fuse Tap is too large.

I have been waiting on someone to make one. I might end up buying a 3D printer and making one early next year

Do you have a link, it's hard to tell from the the descriptions and pics...so many say low profile or mini.

The extended height cover for the box under the dash seems easy to get. It would be great if someone came out with the main fuse box under the hood.

Very cool. Don't make it on my account though. I ordered the micro add a fuses that should allow the cover to latch down properly. I was just surprised it wasn't something that was already offered.
