Post lift settling?

quick question on settling.

I just installed Ironman stage one (2.5 front and 2.0 rear) on my '23 ORP with KDSS yesterday. I chose the coil over to be pre-built. After installation my measurements on the front are added + 3.5 inches. That's way more than the 2.5 expected and it's on KDSS which I understand is bad to go over 3 inches. I did drive it a bit today over some rough road and a bit off-road with a few bumps. I am waiting to do an alignment on Monday.

Should I expect the settling to reduce the lift height enough to get to the 2.5 lift range? Or do I need to get the adjustment tool?

The adjustment tool from Ironman shows out of stock ATM. Does anyone in the inland northwest have one that i could borrow?

The extra inch can be attributed to both misalignment and settling. there's even a little bit of break in for the shocks. once you get it aligned then drive it around for a bit to get a good measurement and see if you really need to get in there with a spanner wrench.

 

Could be that your new springs have a higher load rating than you needed.

 

To piggyback on this comment... Did you choose the medium or heavy load spring option?

 

the medium ones. I've added rock sliders which add to the stock weight.

 

Just an update. Got the alignment done today and went for a 20 mile dirt road test. Had lots of potholes and ruts etc..

The front dropped a bit and now is only 3 inches. so the alignment and test drive took .5 inches off the front. Rears stayed the same lift.
