Hello everyone. I'm looking for a 4Runner TRD Pro and I want to know for any dealer that have one in the lot. Also a Dealer that sell out of state. Because I'm having trouble finding one that meet that criteria.

We don't know what 'out of state' is for you, no mention of where you are.

    Welcome.
It’s a popular vehicle. The trim You want is even more in demand.
Dealers don’t monitor this forum. You have to call them up and ask if they have one in stock.

I'm calling several of them but have not luck in price or stock. Also Out of State I mean, that some dealers I call say, they are not selling to people out of their state. Example Virginia Dealers are telling me they are not going to sell me a truck because I live in Tennesse.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Although you didn't specify, I'm assuming you're talking about a new one.

All I can say is good luck - finding a new TRD Pro (in any color) on a lot will be next to impossible. The vast majority are sold before they ever hit the lot. The best plan would be to contact several dealers in your area, have them check their allocations and see if any are inbound over the next 60 days and unspoken-for. Given that we are also near the end of the Gen 5 production run (and possibly body style change), that will limit your options too.

Best of luck! Hope you're successful in finding one!

    Brad

They’ll sell. Just keep increasing your search radius. I am in Boston and called till NJ, finally got one in RI to sell me what I wanted.

Search all of the reasonably close inventories twice a day. There are some Pro's that will slip thru the cracks. Buyers order or claim one and then change their mind before it arrives or they lose patience and may have already found one elsewhere in the interim.

There are probably a dozen Toyota dealerships within 75 miles of me (MD & VA). I got mine in May of 2021. Constantly checking the inventories online. Saw a Lunar Rock Pro pop up at a dealership 30 miles from me that apparently was ordered by someone that found one elsewhere and I was the first to inquire. I paid $2,000 above MSRP ($54,000 total).

Not sure where you are in TN, but I when I was looking to buy last year I contacted every dealer in TN, all the bordering states, and various dealers across the country. I happened to be out in AZ, found what I was looking for, and in that time to get to the dealership (20 min) it sold. Fast forward a couple weeks I was on my way to Chicago and Robinson Toyota in Jackson called me saying that they had took delivery from a customer they spec'd out. Turned out from the time they ordered the truck to the time it was delivered, they didn't qualify for a loan. I told them I was out of town, and they took the deposit over the phone. I was in and out of the place in an hour and paid msrp. They did have some pro's that were on the same delivery, but those were already pre-sold.

Just look on cargurus.com nationwide they are showing 376 TRD Pro 4Runners. Start calling the dealerships and start driving. You can change the distance from you on this site.

Yeah watch out for this dealership. They will add dealer markup. I talked to them about a Sequioa allocation and they markup vehicles $0-$10k above MSRP depending on vehicle demand. Low demand = $0 and yeah you guessed it high demand $10k. Being it is a TRD Pro 4Runner they will stick it to you. I am sticking with the Toyota dealer in Hickory as they said they won’t play that game.

I bought an ORP from this dealer at MSRP. I thought all dealers were marking up the Pro models because of limited availability?

I went through a similar search two months ago. I searched for about a week. I used google maps and searched Toyota. I opened the dealer's websites to see if they had a Pro, and then I would call that dealer if they did. I would call all the ones withing the radius I had open, and then I would expand it further away if I did not have any luck. Like someone pointed out using a cargurus search, there are plenty out there, but you have to put in the work for MSRP. Most will try and throw in dealer additions or a markup. I found one at MSRP and put a deposit, but it was two weeks away. My patience wore thin, and one I was following at another dealer had not sold. They were originally asking $2k over. I told them I am a buyer at MSRP with no addons. They eventually caved after a couple of days, and I bought that one. A Pro with almost 0 factory options, which is what I wanted. I called the first dealer back and got my deposit back.

Just a week ago Wednesday 21st bought a CSM ORP with dealer installed Tint, Wheel locks, Door edge guard, Hood film guard, Catalytic converter shield at below MSRP. There are dealers that will treat you right and other will treat you bad. You have to stand your ground and not settle. However, time is running out for 5th generation 23's if in fact Toyota has a 2024 redesign coming.

I am under the impression the re-design for 6th Gen is for 2025 and the 2024 models will be the same as 2023 (Gen 5 for sure) with the possible exception of minor distinguishing cosmetics? In other words I don’t think the 2024 will be any different than 2023.
