Trying to post picture of our 4runner. Thanks to everyone volunteering knowledge of what to look for, offering suggestions and experiences. What to look out for and what to expect. We purchased 2023 classic silver metallic limited full time 4wheel drive with rosewood interior. Automatic running boards, no 3rd row. As others mentioned, love at first drive! I'll post more pictures once I get comfortable with this phone app and figure how to add pictures.

Congrats !! And welcome to the Forum. The 4R is a very useful machine. This Forum was a big help even before I purchased a new 4R in helping decide which trim level I wanted.
By the way, if you haven't already, the first two little mods you will want are the glove box organizer and the console tray. Inexpensive and super handy.

Hello and thanks Rick. Those items are definitely a must as there is limited space in R4runners. I'm having a difficult time posting a picture of vehicle, I need to get some assistance from a family member familiar with this. Appreciate everyone here always being kind to new members making them feel welcome! The limited was more my wife's liking as I would have went with TRD off road premium but none were available. We were fortunate to be at dealership when the limited arrived and up for grabs at invoice. Trade in was fair as I had offers from CarMax like forum members suggested. If the new gen 6 shows up dealership said they would definitely take our Gen 5 back at MSRP on trade. I don't feel we would go that direction. BTW Rick, what milage would you consider changing oil/filter on our vehicle, it now has 970 miles of easy old person driving on it. I'm old! Thanks to everyone once again!

Hi Breeze. I'm old too. Just turned 73 last month. My first oil change was done at 10K miles, per the owners manual. But my second oil change was done at 15K miles. My 21' ORP just turned 18K miles a couple days ago. I decided to have the oil changed every 5K miles after viewing the YouTube video with the Toyota guru and some other Forum members. Although some Forum members wait till the 10K mile interval and are ok with that. I did the 10K with my previous 2010 FJ Cruiser with no issues for 161K miles before trade-in.
Also, I retired a year and a half ago. And it looks like it will now be a stretch to put 5K miles a year on the 4R. So in my case, maybe it would be a good idea to change the oil every 6 months now (?) A good question for the more experienced members here on the Forum.
