Strut Mount Bushing question...

    Does this look like the appropriate amount of 'flattening' for the rubber bushing? Can't get a regular torque wrench on it because you have to hold the top of the strut to keep it from turning. 18 ft lbs so I'm kinda guessing. Is the bushing supposed to flatten out pass the top washer? It's a KYB SM5640.

    Do you have enough room get a crow foot on the torque wrench while holding the top with something else?

    It'd be close. But I don't have a crows foot adapter anyway. May have to look into picking up a set.

    Got it taken care of. With it sitting on the ground with full weight, it torqued down nicely.
    If you see in the picture the top washer and the bushing seem a little off angle. It's now flat and pancaked out perfectly. I'm happy with it.
