Just purchased a 2013 trail with a 160,000. Well maintained, clean CarFax, one owner. Noticed that the front drivers tire looks off and started looking really close. The top of the tire looks ever so tilted inward. Wondering if anyone has had this happen, and whether the issue was related to the KDSS or to camber bolts, alignment, etc?
Picture included, it is of course difficult to tell via photograph, but look closely at the top of the tire.

Its not the wheel/tire that is tilted in. Its the trim protruding out, I think :) And that is how the vehicle comes from factory.

Welcome, you're probably over thinking this, BUT, if you're really concerned get an alignment. That will be the surefire way to alleviate any worries.

All vehicles have slight negative camber (top of wheel slants inward) to help with cornering and handling. This typically isn't visually noticeable.

Plus one on getting an alignment check to ease your mind.

Thank you guys for the responses! I had my dad who’s pretty familiar with Toyotas take a look at it and he used a level to determine that it is definitely a bit more slanted in than the passenger side tire, and there’s about 1/4 inch difference from the top of the tire to the black trim between the two sides. I’m not having any steering wheel shaking, or pull to one side or the other when driving, but I’m going to have it aligned and have the camber bolts and suspension checked just to ease my mind. This is the first used vehicle I’ve had in a long time and I think I’m just extra paranoid.

It's camber. Sounds like one side has more camber than the other. An alignment will sort out the issue if there even is one.

Welcome. I’d never thought of using a level to check difference in wheel camber, to determine if an alignment may be needed or not. Your dad is a genius.

Welcome from Arizona! Sometimes a bit of paranoia is a good thing.
