HC rear bumper

Just thought I'd post up the BashFab rig. Just finished up this rear HC bumper with dual swingouts to go with the front eco bumper and rock sliders.. Took it out to Gulches this past weekend for a proper sloppy test. ARB locker coming very soon!

So I will re make this one again, however I don't have the space to setup jig for it so most of my bumpers are a one off deal where you bring your rig to me and I'll fab up whatever you want! I've got another one of these coming up and it will have a hitch and single swingarm with provisions for the second but he has a ladder already and wants to work the arm around that.

So if you're local and interested then yea I can absolutely build another one!

As for the bumper, I'm not sure it'll be on my site unless I post it as a way to deposit for you bringing your rig to me.. I may sell it as a DIY setup where you supply the rectangle tube and I can send everything else just because that piece would be more difficult to ship. It's a beast at 2x5x1/4" thick. It supports the plastic bumper cover really well where the styrofoam pad is factory under the bumper cover

 

That is good to know.Might be an option since my parents live in SC. Not in the market right now, but that is a sweet looking bumper!

 

Designed an air compressor mount under the hood driver side today for the ARB locker going on Friday !

with the hitch what is the towing capacity for the bumper and what is the turn around time for the build?

 

Tbh I can't put a tow rating on it. It's "off-road use only" however I would put my fabricated hitch against 3 factory hitches stacked. The way I've designed this bumper to bolt on I have no doubt you will tear the frame off the truck before you do anything to the bumper/hitch assembly. I add in an additional 4 bolts per side for a total of 8/side, 16 total. My added bolts are all 1/2" grad 8 which is larger than the factory fine thread bolts. My lead time after vehicle drop off is around 4 weeks for this one with similar swingout configuration. Less if you're just doing the lower bumper with no swingouts (can always be added later on)
