Hey guys! South Carolian here and I'm thrilled to own (well, financing) this truck!! User name is an old Earnhardt reference to those who know. I've got a few questions about how to level out the truck and I've been busy reading and watching reviews on YT but I'm sure there are some really knowledgeable people on here who have taken the steps I'm about to take. I've got 74K on the truck and one of the first two things I want to do is level it out (the front sits down noticeably) and get running boards. I'm in the sandhills and I don't intend to push it offroad hard. I do tow a boat from time to time. The Eibachs have caught my attention. I want a tad of lift not 2.5 or 3" to create problems for the arms. Should I go up 2" in front and 1" in back to level it from it's stock setting (which is what?)? Thanks!

I have the Eibach pro 2. Absolutely love them. Both onroad and off the performance is top notch. The Eibach come from the factory already set to level out your rig. I have no regrets. IMG_4023.jpg

Welcome. I have the eibachs stage 1. Good combo of stiff and on road comfort.

Thanks for the welcome. This may be the route for me. It looks like a simple diy. The Bilstein 5100 are stock/oem shocks I believe, and I have yet to have an opinion on them, but the rake is not what I want.

    Welcome Ironhead :hattip:

Please be careful with a 2wd on boat ramp, especially our rear wheels are the ones have power. May be some good tires would be a safe insurance. Just a thought to keep you out of trouble.

2in front and 1in rear would be correct for 4wd models but I'm not sure how the measurements for 2wd models as per clearance 2wd in 9.0 vs 4wd are 9.6. So not sure how the measurements front and back of 2WD.

I'll find out this weekend. We're off to Edisto Island this Saturday for a week of beach and bourbon. I'll take a quick measurement of the height difference and do some more research. Thanks!
