Went out to the Great Sand Dunes National park Fri- today with a run up Medano Pass Saturday afternoon. Couldn’t complete the entire trail. A lot of traffic and too many or two wheel or awd getting stuck. Still made 6 miles in and back with some towering sand dunes and a fantastic camp site sunset.

That's too bad you guys couldn't do the whole thing, it's a great road all the way. But I hear you about people getting stuck. People attempt that road in vehicles that have no business being on it. A gal got her Subaru stuck in deep water right before I drove it last. Thanks for the fun pics.

    Silver Fork in CA?

I've never heard of it until I just googled it and if so then well done and super interesting you said that. This was just outside Mi-Wuk Villiage, CA which is just south of that. So same type of terrain I'm sure.

Pretty cool - I've been thriving past Mi-Wuk my whole life and just learned that right off the highway it's nothing but trails and trails and trails everywhere.

We were just down that way in May and again last weekend (Klamath Falls). We got out to Petroglyph Point at Lava Beds and up into the Modoc NF and Lower Klamath Refuge=unfortunately, I dropped most of the photos! I managed to save one:

Took these this past Thursday. Took an evening drive to the Mississippi River. It's located on western side of Desoto Co., MS. The area nearby is called the Mississippi Delta -- home of cotton, soybeans, and the Blues.

We noticed early on that because they only have a single layer coat that doesn't adjust seasonally they don't regulate temperature well. So we keep him very short so he can be active and stay cool, then throw vests on as needed in winter.

I ran the tail in a 2016 STi limited. Great time in that car. This was my second time on it. Next will be on the bike!
