Anyone painted the cross bar body color on a TSO pro grill conversion?

 

I would love to see some photos

 

They offer a white one which is what I purchased, so yes and no to your question. Looks like you have LR?

I say go for it, I've never seen a color matched pro grille in LR.

 

yes i have seen the white before - yours looks fantastic - i think it looks a lot better than the black Pro grille (sorry Pro grille friends)

 

I've only seen color matched bar on the 40th anniversary editions.

 

I really like how the non-Pro bar on the other models is the painted body color. It's one of the reasons I haven't been tempted by the Pro grille swap.

 

Would love to see this in Magnetic Grey if anyone has done it.

I hear ya Gary, the swap wasn't really even on my radar till I saw TSO had a white one. I feel too many out there have the black pro grill, don't get me wrong I like the look, just think its's a little saturated.

 

exactly - I didn't even think about painting the black one until I stumbled upon the white one on their website

 

If the factory MGM color and clear coat could be duplicated, I'd consider it.

 

easy little job for any body shop - I've got the part on the way - I will post as soon as its done - i just wanted to see some photos if anybody had done it to their 4 runner

Paint is a touch dark but I think it turned out nice
