Is it as simple as it looks? I see threads about hooks and threads etc. I did loosen one of the front bolts and apparently it does not come all the way out??? nothing seems to be strait forward on todays rigs. I need to remove it to get to the clips to change the front valence. I am a rather large fellow and can’t quite get my hands / arms in the gap to get to the clips. Pretty sure removing the plate will give me the half inch more space I need. Rather not remove the bumper.

Loosen bolts, swing towards front, push up & out. Deceptively simple.

    *edit
If you are having problems with this process I highly recommend viewing an oil change video. Removal is part of that process.

Other members have recommended anti-seize lubricant for the bolts -- I do it now as I had one break off and it was NOT easy to get out with a pair of vice grips and breaker spray.
