I had installed a CSF and it leaked from day one.

Love to hear of alternatives to improve over stock???

Also, anyone have a CSF for over three years without failure?

    Appreciate everyone’s insight,
    Raimie

There are mix reviews on this one. Some of the experts have said that there are no significant gains from putting this in the vehicle. The issue with aluminum is corrosion as usual and the fluid along with the chlorides/fluorides...are just too much for it. I bet yours leaked around a weld. And we think sometimes that metal has to be better than plastic (OEM) but in this application it seems best to stick with oem. My 2c.

I see people hyping the CSF, but when mine failed on day one, I realized they aren’t pressure testing them as stated. 530$ for a radiator that might blow out is absurd.

It could have been shipping damage that caused the failure.

They have all kinds of bad reviews online and tons of complaints. And pressure test needs to be done on hot and cold. Not just running water and leave it out with a gauge and say oh it looks good. No, this thing is seeing hot fluid and the expansion on the corners is what usually erodes the lines. I was going to get one but once I saw the reviews I left it alone.

Agreed. I feel like the negative reviews are hidden on vendor sites. All one has to do is to google them and find out the horror stories.
