Is there a more powerful fan for seat fans?

I have posted about speeding up the fans in the ventilated seats, and cannot seem to find anything to accomplish that. I have already modded the duct on the floor to aim straight up into the fan intake.

So now I am trying to figure out if there is a more powerful fan that I could install instead. If so, would I need to change anything in terms of the power required? Would I need to change the fuse it runs through? I would think not if the fan is not too much more powerful.

I know about the aftermarket options where you get an entire new seat put in and actually have air conditioned seats (vs just ventilated) but I think I just need a faster, or more powerful fan in the seat and the back.

Ideas?

 

Although not a practical solution, what about enlarging the holes in the seat foam?

 

I have actually thought of that . . . I am trying to find a diagram of exactly how the 2021 ventilated seats are put together so I can see how feasible that might be.

 

Just take a sawzall and cut a giant hole in the seat, then drill about 20 holes in the floor underneath. You're welcome.

In 1987, my wife's brother gave her a '68 Beetle. It was held together by pieces of rust. The floor pan was rotted through just behind the pedals, parallel to the front of the driver's seat, and was also rotted through parallel to the side of it back to the pillar. The gaps were big. The driver's seat bounced up and down as the floor pan flexed, and water splashed up into the cabin when it rained. I have a thousand stories about that car.
