Hiya! New member here! I recently traded in my '22 SR5 Premium for a '23 TRD Sport. I am having trouble finding side steps (I prefer the Predator style to the Nighshade and NO chrome please!) and am having a hard time finding any. I found one set that may work but some reviews said they rusted after a year. I thought since this trim has been out for a couple years now that they would be more readily available. Does anyone know where I can find them or what to look for when finding a fitment? My husband tells me to look for steps that fit the Limited as it is the same body style but many of the steps I have found exclude that trim as well. I am searching hard for these and would love to purchase some ASAP! I am short and having a hard time getting in and out of my truck!

I dislike regular running boards on my Limited and absolutely live the look of automatic running boards. Here's an aftermarket option but little expensive and might need some extra effort to install.

Note- I personally don't have this. I have factory automatic running boards. Per Amazon this seem to fit 2023 4runner TRD Sport.

I think they would fit almost flush like my factory ones -

Predators for a Pro will not work on a Sport. Depends on how much you want side steps.

I have researched this but sadly they do not fit on the Sport :( Currently, the only Toyota running boards that fit are the Nightshade, which I am not willing to get until all other options are exhausted !

I didn’t realize this was an option! They are a bit pricey but something to look into. I don’t mind the look of certain side steps as I think it lends an extra look of toughness depending on the style but I am glad to know these are available! Thank you!

The link on the Amazon site says
    AMP Research PowerStep | 75155-01A | Fits 2010 - 2023 Toyota 4Runner (Excludes Limited Model w/ Cladding)

If it doesn't fit on the Limited, it also wouldn't work on the Sport, it seems...

I am surprised. Can you send me a side view pic. The holes should be predrilled. 6 bolts on each side easy to install.

So, I guess whatever steps I get, the brackets need to be 5.5-6inches long to go up and under that bit on the bottom.

I'd ask the parts Dept at the dealer what options you have. My parts Dept is very helpful. Enjoy!

I have a pair or predator side steps in black that are in mint condition from my 2020 4R. I will gladly sell them to you. I am in N. Florida.

I would totes do that but unfortunately the Predator steps do not fit the TRDSport.

You probably don't want to modify your new 4R to this extent, but one option is to replace the bottom trim panel for the one from the other models, or trim the molding panel you have to work with the Predator type steps. Some have done that successfully. Just a thought.

Seeing the vehicle, I don't think the Predators will look good.

Or any others that would work with other trims. Not a fan of the Predators either.

Not sure if you’ve seen these from NFAB. This is what I have on my ‘22 TRD Sport and I love them. Put them on myself with a socket wrench in a couple hours.

If you're still in the market check out Go Rhino. We recently bought a '23 ORP and looking for side rail/ steps to install. I wanted clean, supportive, non-bulky and simple install. I viewed several on YouTube to watch install videos and reviews and ended up going with Go Rhino RB20 Slim Line Running Boards with Mounting Bracket Kit and the video offered code for discount. Go Rhino offered 30% discount price, which of course added to the choice preference. Once received and reviewed all parts, install took about an hour. Really pleased with the look, texture (linex) and overall product thus far. Hope this helps your decision. 350097887_236481862425463_6846205821430827724_n.jpg

A sport is a Limited body with a scoop so anything that won't fit a Limited won't fit a Sport.

Westin has a few options for the Sport.

Can you post pictures of your TRD Sport with these installed. I just bought a 23 TRD Sport for my wife and even though I work for a Toyota Dealership I don't want to go with the Nightshade side steps. Please post a picture of your TRD Sport if you see this. Thanks in advance.

Here ya go! Mine is a 22’ but I’m sure it’s the same bolt hole setup. No modification needed. Took out the factory bolts, slid these bad boys on and bolted them on. Took me about an hour to do it by myself. I like the look of these on the Sport.

True. Alas, my growth spurt did let me down a bit. This is why I buy big vehicles that I have to put steps on, makes me feel like a bigger human. I love the 40th anniversary bronze emblems, I was thinking about getting that one but there weren’t any available when I was looking. I went with turquoise :).
