Is anyone running Dobinsons Billet UCAs? How was your alignment?

I plan on having 2.5" lift with the Dobs Billet UCA. Just wondering if anyone got great alignment results with this setup?

I am also curious. With my current Dobinsons UCAs, I was only able to get about 3.5* of caster paired with a 2.5 inch lift. I’d be curious if that number could be bumped into the 4s with these.

I have dobinsons uca's with a 2.5" lift and could only get 3.0° of caster.

Yeah, they say 3 degrees max (even with the spacer) is all you get out of them. I liked the rubber bushings (oem style) with the billet for strength, finish, and durability. Not too bad to install but took me some time as I'm slower at installs.

    From their install instructions.
"For alignment purposes there are 2 spacers. These spaces will give approx. 2 or 3 degrees of castor. If you install the spacer on the rear side of the car, between the strut tower and the UCA bush, it will give approx. 3 degrees of castor. If you install the spacer on the front side of the car, between the strut tower and the UCA bush it will give approx. 2 degrees of castor. This will allow you to move your wheel a forward or backwards for desired alignment or clearance."

But how does it drive with 3°? Does it track straight down the highway without wandering?

Just installed them today. Halfway through my lift job with Elka 2.5s. I screwed up a cv boot clamp and have to wait five days for a new one to arrive. So I am glad to let you know around May 20th once that's on and it's aligned.

I didn't think it was all that bad until I drove a Honda crv and realized how straight that thing was tracking.

    Yes.

    This: https://youtu.be/VeRMF5e6Vqo

And I've got about 4* of caster with those on that 4Runner.

It all comes down to the technician doing the work. It seems to me that most of them are entry level first week on the job kind of guys and I've seen more alignments screwed up than anything else done on a car.

@Crikeymike What rear springs did you go with for your lift? I'm trying to understand what to get to lift the rear about an inch or so to match the front 2.5" lift from the elkas. Grateful for your advice.
