I’m probably just terrible at searching threads so if someone has some decent ones on the subject please point me in the right direction.
I have plans to install a light bar, twin compressor, cb/HAM in the near future and maybe a fridge in the distant future. I’m sure I’ll need a dual battery setup for the fridgebut im wondering if I should do the dual battery setup before I install anything. That way it’s all in place and I won’t have to rewire anything. Thoughts? One battery can support everything but a fridge correct?

You can put off the dual battery setup for now.

I run all that and more with a deep cycle battery. When I am out and about, especially after running my fridge with the truck off over night, ill crank up the truck in the mornings to charge the battery.

Carry a jump starter like antigravity or NoCo

    I have an exide.

Make sure you use a deep cycle battery, not stock or stock replacement.

    oh the list....!
For extended outings, I would recommend a spiral wound secondary battery of some sort, with an isolator. With lead acid batteries (which is our primary SLI), the fewer excursions below 50% DOD (depth of discharge) the longer the lifespan. This is standard knowledge. Lithium, AGM (which is a lead acid variant) are a little more forgiving. Also, as we do not have the ford FMX transmission with a rear pump, we can't be push started, or coast and start like a standard transmission vehicle. Wouldn't chance it.
