Received notification to come in and today (5-15-23) at 5pm that my new ride has arrived. I started a thread about "Is this a good deal or not (help!)

Any last words of advice before I complete my purchase and what to look out for while test driving???

I know this can be an emotional time and am aware of the pitfalls of new car buying and will try very hard not to allow my emotions to trump good sound sense and judgment.

Hopefully that light pole was not the scene of a bad truck driver!

Gun it like you stole it.. jk

Check for alignment. They are known for that upon delivery. That was the only issue I had when I took delivery.

Walk around and look at everything-gaps, plastic, interior, etc. On test drive does it track straight?

I must say the CSM is IMHO the absolute best looking color right there with White (which my wife has). After test driving twice and the numbers were right where I thought they should be......I WALKED AWAY. I just could not get rid of my 21 Tundra....Besides my wife has her (our 23 TRDORP) right????

Check the air pressure, and pull the dip stick to make sure your good, other than that enjoy.

Makes sense to me, you have the best of both worlds there. Two 4Runners doesn't really make sense to me.

Good call on the air pressure. I thought the ride was overly firm on mine, so I navigated to the tire pressure menu, and sure enough, the dealer sent me home with 57 PSI of air in all four tires, when the door jam says 32. Insanity.
