To guarantee 35's trajectory, bearing you probably have lift,uca's,3.5⁰+ caster:
trim portion of fender liner just inside of fender behind wheel
hammer wheel well there
cut weld paint fender mount pinch welds under valance cap
trim front face of valance cap!

Yeah, that rear mudflap will probably need some cutting. My 305’s rub like a bitch

Ya for sure, honestly the front is a small mud guard not a mud flap and I would remove completely. 305's are 33.81 x 12, 35's will eat that flap!

 

My dad got me this last year as a joke. Little did he know in 2023 I'd buy my wife one. Now I only need to paint it AG.

I used plastic dip in case I didn't like it. I did remove the grill and took the toyota emblem off to make it easier, the chrome strips as well. Just go slow and you can do it without breaking anything. The adapters for the raptor light were off etsay.

So yesterday I finished up with the fang light installation. In my opinion, seems a bit much for a front bumper removal, adding fang lights, and etc. But it's done. On the plus side, I did get a lot of sun yesterday.

Same fangs on mine do a neat white sequence during start up, do yours as well? Don't see it in the video, maybe just cuz you had amber indicators going around the same time

 

They do have white sequences when driving. They are supposed to have a blue color when full lights turn on, but I could never get the fuses figured out. I tried several different 10 AMP fuses, to no avail. It would power it up, but the blue color would constantly be on (and drain battery). So if anyone has any suggestions, I'm open to them. The Amazon questions said section for this product say to tap into the low beam positive wire, but I'm not sure how I feel about doing that.

So again, any suggestions would be appreciated.

I got em from 4RunnerLifestyle similar price all in, doesn't say brand on some of their products wish it did, assuming they don't have 4RL branded stuff themselves...

I Installed 3 LFD bars on my roof rack. I have a moon roof and used a wind fairing in front, a wide 4" bar in the middle, and a regular 2" bar in the back. I put a 4" 3M clear bra strip on the roof under the wind fairing but I'm not sure that it will rub. These bars are real solid and should mount/hold anything I'd ever put up there. I sleep in the back on a Luno mattress with a dog so the rack was needed to get some gear out of the back.

 

Can always do the fronts first, see how it goes. If its not dark/cool enough go back to do rear.

Just did the Puddle lights, head liner and map lights, just a quick question, does your map lights turn on with the switch? Mine only comes on when I open the door. Can't turn it on with the door closed. Thanks

 

I made an appointment to do all 4 windows. I figured it would be better for the passengers as well while driving during hot summer months in AZ.
For now I decided to to do the rear hatch, as I feel like it’s not necessary but might end up doing it later down the road if it helps while the car is parked

 

Push on the outboard edge of the map light, same as how the factory switch operated.

 

This happened on both 3rd row seats. The other one I drilled a hole on each side and put a bolt through. However, since it happened to both I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue with the poor engineering design.

Gave mine a wash and found a couple rock chips....1500 miles on the odo. Damn construction. Ordered a touch up pen and plan to do ppf on the hood.

 

The AVS Bug Deflector 2 works great to keep paint chips off the hood. Low profile. Can hardly see it from the drivers seat. They’re like 75 bucks.

 

Are you able to clean underneath the AVS 2. Does it attach by tape or screws.

I have the OEM deflectors.

 

I am king of the idiots. I was attempting to set the combo lock on the center console safe and my paperclip bent and slipped and I have no idea what the combo was set at. Luckily the door was not shut and I found a replacement combo lock on ebay for $15. I'll problably keep the combo at 0000 lol.

 

Just sharing a little thought to keep your 12v outlet. I'm so glab I kept my 12v outlet and use Amazon flush type chargers when needed because I'm able to charge my Laptop and do some work while I wait for my kiddo at the school parking line.
Just a thought since we had a post sometime back changing this port to a "Toyota" part dual USB charging thing.
