I just noticed my fog lights on my 2019 4Runner TRD OR Premium are not working. Engine is running. Lights are on low beam, fog light is in the "on" position on the stalk and I am getting the green indicator light on the dash that they are on. Checked fuse under the dash and it's good. I can't seem to locate which relay under the hood is for the fogs. Any and all suggestions are welcome at this point. Thanks Much!

Could possibly be dead bulbs. Test for power at the plug.

check the polarity of the plugs too. when I reinstalled the bumper, I noticed they could be turned around without knowing.

Thanks! Would you happen to know anything about the relays in the box under the hood?

there's always a fuse to check, also there's a big square plug on the front driver side that you might check too. it has a white lever that pulls/releases and locks the plug connection.

Yes, checked the fuse in the white fuse box under the dash. Someone mentioned the relays under the hood in the big black box, but there's not an actual designation for the fog lights. The diagram on the underside of the lid shows a lot of components, but not the fogs. Thanks for your suggestions.

That only matters on LED lights, diodes by definition only let electricity flow 1 way. For a normal bulb it doesnt matter.

I want to thank those of you who had suggestions regarding the fog lights not working. I will keep all of that in mind should I ever encounter that issue again. Come to find out, the fog light's fuse is run in conjunction with the tail lamps. If the tail lamp fuse is blown (or in my case missing altogether) it will render your fog lamps useless sending no power to them. I checked my tail lamps and had none. I checked the fuse to the tail lamps and found no fuse at all. It must have dislodged somehow, but I never saw it inside on the floor so that is a mystery. And I know my fogs worked before and unknown when the tail fuse went missing and the fogs stopped working. Replaced fuse for tail lamps and fogs lamps are back!! Hope this will help someone in their quest for failing fog lamps. Have a great day!!
