Just like the title says, trying to get some feedback from anyone running this particular rack. If you have a bunch a pics from different angles, that would be cool too. Search yielded no results, but I find it hard to believe no one has tried these out!

Bump! Doesn't seem so? No YouTube reviews either. Strange. They look like a nice simple design with low wind noise.

I was waiting to see if anyone responded. Since no one has I will just say that I have the LFD crossbars and front fairing and the quality is very high. I would expect the same on the MO rack.

Probably good if you don’t have the OEM rails Or removed them. If you have the OEM rails the ruggedized crossbars would be the way to go. I think they sell them individually.

Thanks for the replies. I do have factory rails, but I like the minimalist for 2 reasons - I think the look is slick, not having the side rails, and I believe they would have less wind noise than the ruggedized crossbars, which is something that I have heard others complain about.

I have the Cross bars and Wind fairing and I honestly don’t hear or notice any wind noise. The minimalist bars do look slick tho.

Haven’t noticed any noise from the crossbars or fairing but I’m pretty deaf from living life so might just be that.

Good luck! I hope you can post better photos than LFD, though...

Alright, bars are installed. I think they look great. They came in blemished but LFD was super responsive and easy to deal with.

What I really like about these is that is maximizes the spread of the bars, probably about a foot further apart than a crossbar would be in the stock side rails. Not crazy about the spacer blocks that are used to fill in the space in the rain channel, because they are sort of a W shape, and the W points up toward center roof, which feels like it could hold a little water, whereas it wouldn't if the design was reversed. Of course I didn't photograph the blocks, so you don't have any clear idea of what I'm talking about :p

Somehow I was expecting round bars, but they are slotted and flat rails just like the ruggedized crossbars. Because it used the stock bolts, I need to find some acorn style plastic nut covers.

Thanks for the photos. I'm guessing the rear brackets are taller to clear the tail fin antenna?

Yep, I didn't measure but would say they sit about 3-4" over the roof

Those look really clean. Glad LFD was responsive. Nicely done.

How have you been enjoying the rack?

    Any issues with water?

Also do you know the distance front to back of the rails? Website measures from the middle I am curious what the overall distance is

Sorry for the delayed response. I finally got to measuring, and it's 51 inches between the bars. Is that what you were trying to figure out?

I am really happy with them. They're nice and simplistic, strong, and functional. No problems with water at all so far.

I was looking from furthest point of each bar front to back. My RTT is 55 inches wide for mounting so a little curious if this would be too wide to clamp mount

Are you asking the width of one bar?

It seems he's asking for the measurement from the front edge of the front crossbar to the back edge of the rear crossbar...

You know what’s really cool about this set up… you could very easily fab a flat platform of whatever dimension you want with any material and cutouts you want and quickly set it on top with 4 anchoring points.

With a second set of hands it would take two minutes to go from two crossbars to a full length rack of whatever size you wanted.

Yes I agree, it's a very solid base that you can use for a multitude of items with a quick 4 point change
