i really liked my LFD’s.We just mainly needed more real estate.

Only downside is that configuring/rearranging gear is somewhat of a hassle since they fit so close to the roof.

Huge fan of my Sherpa Crestone. I too have a moonroof, and I was able to config the Sherpa with a selection of crossbars and mounting plates to keep an open space over the moonroof, but also have platform for mounting other items to the rest of the roof. Almost two years and a lot of bad roads, rack is still rock solid.

Appreciate this thread. Roof rack addition is on my future phase II shopping list….Phase I includes Lift, Rims, Tires and Rocksliders first however.

Will post pics after phase I is complete

Mods made include ARB Base Rack with two Pelican case Vaults, Frontrunner ladder, Rhino Rack Pioneer MaxTrax Side Mount Brackets for my MAXTRAX MKII recovery boards, High Lift extreme jack with base rack mounts, WeBoost Drive Overland, LabOps Gear Dash Mount, Cali Raised Interior Rear Molle panels and shelf, full CBI Aluminum skid plates, RCI rock sliders, Morimoto XB LED headlights & XB LED taillights, Baja Designs Squadron-R Fog Light Kit, OME MT64 2.5 suspension, Trekboxx drawer system, ARB single compressor mounted under the driver seat.
McSpazatron asks for photos of my ARB Baserack and setup. Like many of us, the setup is a work in progress. But here is the latest version. ARB Baserack, Pelican Vault for some recovery gear, and this weird brace I built for traction boards (not included). Like a dumb a** I forgot to shoot the rear ladder.
As I said in previous posts, I am a professional photographer and use the rack as a shooting platform. It's really nice to be 10' high in a matter of seconds.

Very nice rack, but doesn't seem to fit the OP's request for low profile.

No, it does not. I was merely saying it suits my needs very well and it's relatively quiet. Just offering a option. Besides, this was more a follow up to a request by another post.

I just happened to see this too. This looks very nice. I’ve since decided to build my own roof rack. It looks like the ARB website is a bit more complete or organized since I last saw this thread. I could hardly find a picture of their products before. But seeing their options now, I’d be seriously considering them due to the welded box design. Just seems a lot stouter and durable construction approach compared to the bolted construction. That’s not to say bolted construction of the better racks has proven to be a huge problem.

Absolutely. The welded box aluminum is so strong. The ARB site has been an issue. ARBUSA.com has been a ton more helpful. If you find something on the ARBUSA site I've had good luck with ordering through Amazon and the ARB link on the Amazon side.
So far, this rack has been a beast. I've mounted two Pelican Vault cases (holding my recover gear) with the small horizontal bracket, a High-Lift extreme jack with the Baserack mounts (it holds very nicely), MaxTrax mounts with two T-slot adapters from ARB, a propane tank, WeBoost, and I just ordered a double horizontal Jerry Can holder.
I sleep in a Gazelle ground tent that fits nicely between my vault boxes.
