If anyone in eastern Montana or North Dakota is looking for a 2023 Pro at MSRP of about $56k, DM me. I have a lead on one that the sale fell through. The color is black and is optioned with rear sliding cargo tray, trail running boards, and black out emblems. It is currently at the port in Oregon and should be on the ground soon. I get nothing out of this deal except for helping out a fellow forum member. Please keep in mind, that if you live outside of eastern Montana or North Dakota, they will not sell to you.

    56k?

That’s 20k more than I paid for my SR5 new. Thanks, but no thanks.

It’s crazy how much prices have gone up. Msrp on my 2023 Pro was $55,920 and that was before the $750 price hike. The msrp on my 2020 Pro was only $52k and it had lots of extras on it.

Yes I agree, unfortunately when it comes to prices, not just cars, it’s rare to see prices come down. Hotel and restaurant prices have skyrocketed too.

MSRP on my 2021 Lunar Rock Pro was $52,000. Plus I paid a $2,000 market adjustment.

Here is the current status from Dealer Daily, for any that are interested. Also, this one was built before the new $600 MSRP increase from Toyota.

Looks like someone just put a deposit on it, so this is no longer available.

amazing what the prices are right now. there’s a voodoo blue pro out here in southern california with 24k miles. i have tons of regret for not buying a vb pro when the prices were more reasonable.

WTF?!?! $53k for a used 2019? You could buy a used 2019 offroad and paint it VB for less.

I bought in 2021 and at that time there were no new trucks on the lot. They came off the transport sold. I think it's the same now. Used are the only option if your not willing to wait for a new one and prices are set high. Most of the crazy prices I think they are not wanting to sell them fast so they have inventory on the lot. It does look depressing seeing a car dealer with an empty lot.

When I bought mine (in ND btw) it was the only car on the lot, and it felt kinda special, like everyone was there at work that day just to deliver me my 4Runner, lol.

They don't want them on the lot, that cost money. They are selling for top dollar before the dealership gets an allocation. I think dealerships will try to continue this trend.

Guess it's just supply and demand. They are charging what will be paid. I could not convince myself to pay that for used and went new.

Black will be a dust magnet. They literally have dust before you finish drying that color.

I think pricing is getting somewhat better. Probably more realistically I was at the right place at the right time at the end of the month.

After a short search (months) we finally purchased a new 2023 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium the end of April 2023 . Actually a little below MSRP and get this a free LIFETIME Powertrain Warranty. When most all those dealers in the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex are above MSRP especially for the TRD ORP flavor.

    MSRP $51,753
    Paid $51,657.64
    Free Door Edge Guard ($149)
    Free Front Window Tint ($199)
Free Nitrogen Tires ($149) waste but free
Free Lifetime Powertrain Warranty non-transferable (Engine-Transmission-F/R Drive)
    Trade 2017 Honda Ridgeline RTL-T 77K miles $22,000 (CarMax offer $21,400)
    Tax $1,853.60
    Dealer Fees $434.70
    Total Out of Pocket $31,945.94
    Trade $22,000.00
    OTD Total $53,945.94

But wait there is more if you call and buy now :)

Your friends at the Fed just raised interest rates yet again so you get to pay an extra .25 percent on that loan too!

But if they didn’t do that, inflation would add more to MSRP

Yep there is some truth to that for sure.

Not worry though the inflation is only transitory

The offroad upgrade package and console safe add-ons are more concerning. It's not like they gave credit for the wheels and tires that come stock. They keep those and charged full retail for new wheels and tires.

Nitrogen in tires are a complete waste, glad it was free. I have the safe in my Tundra and they are a great upgrade to keep wallets and extra keys safe when traveling IMHO.
If you go to Toyota.com and build my vehicle the price will be the same as my window sticker, it's more than wheels and tires for the Off-Road package. It's not like they did it at the dealership, its a factory build.
The window tint, door edge guard, and nitrogen in the tires is a dealer add-on which in my purchase was free no charge.

No concerns on my part at all.

@Texas4Runner Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. What matters is that you are happy with the deal and 4Runner.

Absolutely not offended at all. Just trying to answer your concerns and hopefully clarity.
    Peace my friend!
