New to the 4runner and doing little mods.

Seen info ( videos) on the CAI on the 4 runner but being told not avaliable?

    Anyone else have insights?

    And prefer the TRD version.

Just cant find out if the 2023 vehicle can use. I would think so but parts department says it doesn't show up on their menu.

Search for the parts list and order them from your dealer or BAM. You will want the extension harness from Michigan Motorsports. Toyota stopped certifying the intake beyond like 2014 but it’s the same engine and layout. It also gets air from the same spot as the factory intake. I have it on my 19 and it makes noise but that’s it. Don’t forget a foot of vacuum hose from the parts store.

The 4Runner engine has been the exact same since 2010. Unless there’s been some new ECU update I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.

It’s just noise vs no noise. There’s no kit you can order so you basically have to order it like replacement parts.

You can’t get the TRD filter but a regular replacement filter works. I currently use the stock paper filter.

The MAF extension is the 5 wire one.

    OP, look at this thread

TRD cold air intake worth it?

I posted a message a while ago with the parts I got. Like said above, you’ll need to go to your local store for the vacuum hose (very cheap) and get the filter of your choice as they don’t sell the TRD anymore (and it’s oiled so not preferred by many of us anyways)

Also it works perfectly fine on my 22 so I cant imagine the 23 is any different

The above thread has a lot of good info. You can part it or buy the kit with everything you'll need.
