I would like to relocate/swap the glovebox USB to the center dash USB. I saw the post about the opposite, but none doing this direction. Was wondering if anyone has done this and if it's possible without cutting/soldering. Not sure why they put the data USB in the glove box in the first place.

Do you have the opening for it in your center dash? I did the opposite, went front center stack to inside the glove box. Length was just enough to reach inside the glove box so I am assuming it should work the opposite way with with no issues, splicing/soldering etc. Note that the cable may be attached to a bracket. If you could find that and release it, it will be a lot easier as it will allow for more play.

I have the Aux port I was hoping to swap. Seems to be the same size.
