    Okay, last question for now.

We couldn't find a white ORP anywhere on the west coast with this feature but would like to know if it's possible to add it in at some point, whether it be having Toyota install it or being able to purchase one and install it ourselves. Anyone know?

This is a factory-installed option and not a port-installed option. It can be added at a later date but will probably cost more than if it were installed at the factory. The other hurdle is trying to find one for sale near you.

You can buy/find it later and there are instructions how to install online, YouTube. However you may want to do something custom or buy an aftermarket system to better fit your needs.

I made my own since i wanted a pull out table rather than a pull out cargo tray.

This question has come up before and as stated above, it's factory installed. I think one person even went to a dealership and the parts department didn't even have a part number for it so they couldn't order it. That was last year so maybe that's changed.

I have it and I love it. Wouldn't do without it now. Good luck!

It's possible to add on later, but perhaps not easily. There was a post on reddit from a member who found someone selling all of the parts for $80. Had to drive a bit to get them, but still a great deal.

I have the slide out tray on my 16 and find it useless for anything slide out related. Stuff would fall into the area if there was anything in the back and you tried to slide it out. It makes for a level surface for sleeping and for that purpose it is great but you can buy aftermarket things for that goal.

Can you elaborate on that? Where should I look for that kind of thing?

I built a cheap panel out of half a sheet of 1/2” plywood and an 8 ft 2x4 ripped-down (four long under-supports). I used 2 $5 turnbuckles from Lowe’s to attach it to the rearmost cargo mounts. I think it cost like $40 total to build, and I can store small things underneath it to save some of the lost space. I store it in the garage with the lumber pile when not in use. Just an option if you’re a fan of the projects.

That's along the lines of what I figured I'd do if something more elegant isn't available. I've seen a similar platform made for other vehicles.

    I would go aftermarket.

    You can buy this: https://www.victory4x4.com/product/OGFL-4R5.html

But I would do this for under $100.

I installed mine afterwards. I found one on Facebook market for $500. You’d have to buy a used option or find someone to swap you out. The average price is around $500 or you can find someone to swap for free sometimes. All of the parts are available for purchase but cost 1k+. The installation requires drilling two holes which are premarked by the factory, and plug and play the rest of the way.
