Has anyone ever opened the 5th gen oem headlight and custom created a led "checkmark"

I searched but didn't see this anywhere in there.

Has anyone custom built oem headlights where just the chrome checkmark had been swapped with a led similar to the alpharex headlights? I've seen many examples of people swapping led bars into stock headlights in other applications but hadn't come across one yet in my short time in the 4Runner family.

Not LED, but I’m sure it can be done although it might not be very cost effective as buying a prebuilt set.

 

Definitely not going to be cost effective for sure as I don't know if there'd be a way to get that chrome checkmark looking thing created in a led piece and then would have to open a set of headlights and modify them (if that is even removable) just to essentially have a cool looking drl. I'm not sure why they even put that piece in there as it looks like it should light up like the alpharex headlights but doesn't

 

I didn’t see the photo earlier on your post. There is a company that does retrofits like that.
