One-at-this-price stripper. Bought new 34 yrs ago, a $13K leftover. Added Detroit TruTrac, 1”rear spring spacer and “pinstripes”… Factory AC kit and roof rack bought at dealer cost at time of purchase, still blows ice cold 32yrs later. 2022 AG ORP all stock.
Wife liked AG with LR as second choice.
    Just the opposite for me.
We decided whichever came available first with the options we want we would buy.
I have come around to the darker color, when clean it shows the body lines better than LR. When dirty LR doesn’t show the dirt as much as AG.
Since this is a senior citizen mall crawler/garage queen it turns out AG was the better choice. Definitely prettier in dusk lighting.
I drive my old 4R 90% of the time for errands.

I have a weird quirk. I don't want the red trim pieces of the TRD. I want AG, Black, and Quicksand as the color schedule as much as possible. But I know people love the TRD (red). Also, I need to upgrade my lug nugs to black - that is the #1 thing bugging me right now.

Great looking rigs. AG was my first choice...not available in SR5 and couldn't justify the added cost of ORP for a color (p.s. I struggled with accepting the red TRD stitching in ORP, not a fan)

I was only interested in AG or Lunar Rock, very happy with this color choice and pretty rare around where I live.

I got 15 years out of my 2006 Sienna hardly even trying! And it was still solid when I sold it. And 22 years out of a 99 Accord. I better get 20 years out of my 4runner! Especially with the 35 pounds of woolwax hanging off the bottom

But that is a long time…. I might not care by then lol.

I just saw an Army Green with a failed inspection sticker. I’m thinking brakes prob. So easy to do yourself.

I think it was available on the 2021 Pro.
On the 2021 & 2022 off road and sport trim it was available as well

2021 Pro special color was Lunar Rock. Army Green was available on the other trims after 2020, just like Lunar Rock was available on the other trims after 2021. One special color per year to be passed down to the other trims the following year - so much for the special color, for those that care!

Yes, 2021 was the first year for LR on the Pro.
Pretty sure you could still opt for army green on the pro in 2021 along with all the regular colors.

I beg to differ! I was hot and heavy on the search trail in the Spring of 2021 and probably would have jumped on a 21 Pro in AG if available. They typically only offer one special color per year in addition to the White, Black and MGM (Magnetic Grey) Pro's which are available every year.

I think 2020 was the only year for the AG Pro. I was searching hard in 2020 for an AG Pro and would rather to have waited until 2021 to buy. Maybe there was a few 2020s left over for 2021 since that was the height of Covid.
