I have much experience with Tacoma TRDOR and sold mine to acquire a 4 Runner ORP. I see the 4 Runner has some capabilities the Tacoma doesn’t have. I read MTS is available in 4 Runner 4WD Hi (most wheel spin setting only) whereas Tacoma MTS is 4 WD LO only. Tacoma does not have ATRAC and 4 Runner does. I really used my individual tire pressure sensors in Tacoma a lot and 4 Runner has feature. The Tacoma has a pitch/roll sensor in the multi information display. I didn’t use it much in the Tacoma but it was kinda neat to see some incline measurements at which wheel-spin started when MTS was engaging. Does the 4 Runner have a pitch-roll indication in the display?

My 2022 has pitch-roll but only when you engage 4lo and turn on front camera.

Which models have front camera? I have a 2023 ORP on the way. I was not aware of any front camera? Is that a PRO feature only? From further reading, it may be you have to have the Panoramic View option to get supplemental cameras? I’m not sure?

I assume that all 2023 have front cameras but if you want to be sure you gotta check Toyota website I guess. I might be wrong.

Scanny, I went to the 2023 Brochure for 4 Runner. Looks like there is an option (not on my coming ORP) for a Panoramic View camera system. That makes me think the pitch-roll indication will not be on my ORP. But for some reason it is standard on the Tacoma TRDOR. Not a big deal to me. Just trying to get familiar with the equipment and capabilities of the ORP. It clearly has some features the Tacoma does not have like ATRAC and at least one 4WD Hi MTS setting.

Coming from a 2014 Tacoma SR5, basically every single feature my 4Runner Venture has did not exist on the Tacoma! I feel like I'm driving in an airplane sometimes hah
